BLUEPLUS - THE SUSTAINABILITY LABEL FROM STUDER

STUDER is a bluecompetence alliance member and therefore a partner of the sustainability initiative of the mechanical and plant engineering sector. The label aims to establish energy and resource efficient products, technologies and processes. STUDER goes a step further with their label "BluePlus".

The label "BluePlus" is based on the "4 BlueSteps":

1. BlueStep - machine components

We always use the most up-to-date and energy-efficient sensible components.

2. BlueStep - Standby Management

Our measuring device, which was developed in cooperation with ETH Zurich / Inspire, ensures optimum standby management. By determining on and off phases, machines are only switched on in the use phase.

3. BlueStep - StuderTechnology

The STUDER software StuderTechnology makes a significant contribution to increasing energy efficiency. Only grinding cycles can usually be reduced by 25-50% and the energy input per part is reduced.

4. BlueStep - EE4C

The EE4C is a system that allows the customer to obtain the exact energy value for the production of his part.
